Music and singing is an essential part of liturgical prayer. We pray with our whole being, including our singing voices. The choir leads the congregation in prayer and worship through song. The Cantor is responsible for intoning the Entrance & Communion Antiphons, Responsorial Psalm, and Gospel Acclamation, as well as singing the verses of the Responsorial Psalm and Gospel Acclamation.
