St. John Paul II Parish hosts a Bereavement Group for Adults several times each year.This program is currently led by Rita Thompson, funeral coordinator for St. John Paul II Parish, and parishioner Patricia Campbell, a volunteer facilitator at the Dempsey Center and longtime volunteer grief & loss group facilitator at the Cancer Community Center in South Portland (now the Dempsey Center).- "The topic of faith was wonderfully honored (in weekly groups).
